Welcome to Dyer Baptist Church

Dyer Baptist is a local, unaffiliated, conservative body of Christians.
You are welcome to join us!

Treasure Seekers Kids Program

Join us during the 2015-16 school year on Wednesday Nights for an exciting kids program! Gym games, scripture memory, and Bible teaching are all a part of this fun time for children ages 3 through 6th grade.

Each evening it starts at 7pm. Club dues are $0.75 each week. Memorizing and reciting Bible verses is a big part of this program, with big rewards! Clubbers can earn points to use to buy neat toys at the end of each quarter.

Handfuls of Purpose

Handfuls of Purpose is our theme for 2015. Concentrating on diliberate acts of ministry is our focus for our church this year. We want to concentrate this year on diliberate acts of ministry with purpose. God calls Christians to good works! This is taken from the book of Ruth, when Boaz left Handfuls of Purpose on Purpose for Ruth as she was gleaning.

We have three adult Sunday School classes for the Fall season:

Mrs. Bethany is teaching a Ladies class Putting Your Past In Its Place at 10am in the auditorium.

Jesus Asks... How Will I Respond? is an interactive class that is focusing on thought-provoking questions Jesus asked in the Gospels. The format of the class is to break into small groups and discuss the passage, then to recombine and share what was learned. Meets in the Teen Room at 10am.

Pastor Lee is teaching a class through the book of Romans.

Dyer Baptist Church is located at the intersection of Calumet Avenue and 213th street in Dyer. We are just a mile north of US30.
