Welcome to Dyer Baptist Church
A local assembly of believers, conservative and unaffiliated!
Handfuls of Purpose
is the theme for our church in 2015. We want to concentrate this year on diliberate acts of ministry with purpose. God calls Christians to good works!
Please join us at 10am on Sunday mornings for Sunday School. Currently we have three teen/adult classes going on for Spring/Summer 2015:
Mrs. Bethany is teaching a ladies class in the auditorium on Putting the Past in its Place.
Marty Terry is teaching a class on finances, biblical principles for stewardship.
Pastor Peter is leading a class in the fellowship room exploring thought-provoking questions that Jesus asked in the Gospels.
Wednesday Night Church
Calling all kids ages 3 through 6th grade! We have an exciting Treasure Seekers program every Wednesday evening at 7pm. Bible lessons, fun active gym games, Bible verses, prizes, and special food nights!
7th through 12th graders are invited to be a part of the SOS youth group, also meeting at the same time. This year's theme is Candy Country, and the group is split into two opposing team for crazy games & challenges, quizzing, and gym nights.
Parents are welcome to stay for the adult Bible study with Pastor Lee upstairs, with a special time of fellowship afterwards in the lobby.
The young adults are also meeting! Starting each Wednesday by listening to the sermon in the auditorium, the group then meets together for the second half apart from the others.
Dyer Baptist Church and Plum Creek Christian Academy & Preschool are located at the intersection of Calumet Avenue and 213th Street in Dyer, just one mile north of US 30.
Visitors are always welcome, so please stop by and visit!
