Believers live for Jesus ~ not for Satan

Most of us talk too much. And many of us talk too loudly.

All godly men and women obey the Lord in the matter of separation from sin. They know that human beings become like the people with whom they associate. Have you ever heard a friend talk with a different accent after returning home from travel to a far away place? Many of us have. This is an example of why separation from ungodly living is so vital for anyone who would have the power of the Lord upon his life.

Believers are to be separated from sin and separated UNTO Christ. Romans 6:22Romans 7:4 There are as many "Dos" to this good doctrine as there are "Don'ts."

Separation begins in the heart of the genuine new Christian the very hour he is saved or converted. "Old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17. The man who does not have a new set of desires to stay away from evil has never been saved!

Separation is a personal matter. This means that, as individuals, we stay away from ungodly activities and close friendships with unsaved people. It also means that a believer should never under any circumstance court or marry an unbeliever or even a professing Christian who has lower standards of right living.

Separation is also an ecclesiastical matter. That is a big word that simply means "having to do with the church." No church or church member should ever associate with another so-called church that does not believe and practice the teachings of the whole Bible. Liberalism or modernism, that denies the plain doctrines of scripture is Anti-Christ. 1 John 4:3
